  We had dinner here during the week, and four out of five people were very happy with the entrees. The waitstaff was very slow in getting to our table to take our drink orders, but eventually got there. The small Caeser salads were a bit limp and overloaded with dressing, so I'd go with the small dinner salad next time. Although it took a really long time to get the entrees, the Eggplant Parmigiana was great, as were the strombolis. One person ordered the 'Pork Tenderloin Fettucini' which was supposed to be pork medallions over fettucine, but turned out to be chopped pork from various parts of the pig - not what was expected from the description (that was the one unhappy person in our group).

  You've got to try the Italian Beef sandwich! Get it semi-wet, with the green peppers; you'll think you died and went to heaven. The hotdogs really ARE Chicago-style: relish, mustard, pickles, onions, and celery salt on a poppy-seed bun. Great stuff!

  Unfortunately, this place has declined in recent months. There is a funky, almost sewer-gas smell upon entering, which makes the experience less than pleasant to begin with. The music, which may be suitable for the bar, is much too loud in the dining area to allow conversation. They really need to lighten up the menu; not everything has to be covered in cheese, deep-fried, or Cajun-ized. We won't be back until some significant changes are made.

  Although the interactive dining side of the restaurant is fun, it's the sushi bar that really stands out. Excellent selections, impeccably prepared, make this a terrific choice for lunch or dinner. Try the Sunset Roll for a fresh twist on salmon, or the Caterpiller Roll for the avocado lover in the family.
